Value-based business-ICT alignment in the area ICT-services

Research Description

I'm currently participating in the VITAL project, whose goal it is to to adress the problem of business-ICT allignment in the area of ICT-services. This will be done by viewing the ICT-services as independent value-objects rather than looking at them from a purely technical or process-oriented point of view. In this way, we hope to be able generate bundles of ICT-services that are profitable for all parties involved.

My role in this project is to expand and specialize a service ontology already developed at the VU into the area of ICT-services; the usage of this ontology is motivated by the fact that it has already been proven useful in generating bundles of "traditional" services and by the fact that ICT-services and "traditional"services are very closely related to one another.
