Call for Papers

Researchers in the field of business economics, management and organization are invited to present their research either as poster or paper at the 9th PREBEM conference in Amersfoort at October 5th, 2006. No particular constraints with respect to topics, methods or theoretical background will be given. Again, we stress that this conference is also intended for PhD researchers at the start of their project.

Submission deadline for abstracts (max. 600 words) is May 15th, 2006. Please send to info@prebem.nl

The 9th PREBEM conference, 'Back to Business: Creating and Translating Scientific Knowledge,' addresses the discussion about the relevance, rigor and value of scientific knowledge creation for business. However, we invite PhD researchers in all fields of research in business economics, management and organization science to attend the conference. This means there are no particular constraints with respect to topics, fields of interest or disciplines. We stress that this conference is also intended for PhD researchers at the start of their project.

The doctoral consortium on "Innovation through Enterprise Networks and ICT" has been designed to bring together Ph.D. candidates and faculty in order to facilitate focused and in-depths discussions. The consortium will cover areas such as
* ICT use in teams, groups, virtual communities, virtual organizations;
* Electronic Business in networked environments (value webs, etc.);
* business networks and inter-organizational systems, and
* Innovation management in networks and clusters
